We are still seeking volunteers and people with ideas to continue helping with our Lake Hefner Project and our chaopter functions. We hope to plant more trees this Fall, and need to build up our volunteer group to be able to handle the additional watering requirements for more trees.  We have a 325G tank and a powered water pump to speed up the process.  Per city requirements, we cannot use lake water for watering the trees, so we must use a meter attached to a local fire hydrant to fill our water tank. It takes about 5 or 6 people are needed to water once a week during the hot summer.  Can you help so we can continue planting trees?  Please contact Jane at the above e-mail address.
